Skills

  • Territory Creation (E): A Caster's workshop in name only. Dumas would rather a kitchen, a salon, or a printer's stall than a bounded field of magecraft.
  • Item Construction (Revision) (EX): Revises legends on the page until they can be worn as tools. He writes false Noble Phantasms for Clan Calatin by treating fiction as a craftsman's workshop.
  • Era Observation (A): Reads the texture of an age the way a serialist reads a newspaper market—necessary for forging period-correct lies that still function as mysteries.
  • Gourmet (A): A palatal philosophy. Food is not garnish; it is how he judges civilizations, Masters, and whether a war is worth showing up for.
  • Innocent Monster (E): The public Dumas—ghostwriters, scandals, and larger-than-life appetite—stains the Saint Graph lightly, a celebrity's rumor rather than a curse.

Noble Phantasms

  • Musketeers' Masquerade (Musketeers, Tilt at Windmills) · Anti-Unit (E~A+): Literature as backup. He can stage musketeer-like force and quixotic charges by revising adventure into a masquerade that fights, the rank swelling with how well the tale is told.
  • Grand Dictionnaire de Cuisine · Anti-Object (A): The great dictionary of cooking crystallized as a Noble Phantasm. A gourmet's encyclopedia that treats recipes as mysteries capable of rewriting matter on a plate—and sometimes on a battlefield prop.

Personality

A raconteur, glutton, and flirt who treats the Grail War as a serial with better catering. He wants food and women more than cosmic wishes, yet he will still pick up a pen for someone he likes—John Wingard included. True Neutral: he is loyal to appetite, friendship, and a good scene.

Story in Fate

False Caster of Snowfield, contracted to police chief Orlando Reeve. Dumas writes fake Noble Phantasms so Clan Calatin can stand on a Grail War stage they were never meant to share. He is a gourmet whose stated wish leans toward pleasure rather than hegemony, and he still finds room to help John Wingard. The man who industrialized the roman-feuilleton becomes a Caster who industrializes legend itself—revision as magecraft.

Relationships

  • Orlando Reeve — Master; Snowfield's police chief who uses Dumas to arm Clan Calatin.
  • Clan Calatin — Recipients of written false Noble Phantasms.
  • John Wingard — Someone Dumas chooses to help amid the war's machinery.
  • Alexandre Dumas fils — Historical son; the Saint Graph still carries the family's literary aftertaste.

Trivia

  • His wish-list priorities are famously food and women, not a rewritten France.
  • Item Construction is specified as Revision: he edits stories until they become equipment.
  • Grand Dictionnaire de Cuisine is a real posthumous cookbook project attached to his name.
  • Show Hayami voices him in Japanese; Frank Todaro in English contexts.
