Story in Fate

True Rider of Snowfield, contracted to Doris Lusendra, Hippolyta rides Kalion into a war that restages her death. She seeks a fair duel with Alcides, the Heracles who killed her in life over Ares' sash, and she keeps civilians out of the blast radius while Goddess of War and the horseback axe Húbrin Anatropón Erinyes do the work of a queen. She is not a berserk Amazon stereotype. She is the ninth labor answering back.
